in early spring i usually use sun in on my hair just to make it a little bit brighter and to bring out the blond. however i dyed the underneath of my hair black awhile ago and i was wondering if i used sun in on the black if it would turn a dark brown or if it would be a disaster. thanks :]

That's an interesting point, Id say try it out on a small piece, "a strand test"...what's the worst that could happen? It could work a little to brighten it but I would reckon it isn't strong enough a product to make a difference. Usually, sun-in has the same sort of effect as the natural "lemon-juice" method, just with stronger chemicals. It isn't meant for dark hair, as Im sure you know already so don't think it would work well.

I think it would be interesting. Maybe turn a nice shade of red.Try a small section and see. I love colorful hair.
