it's not really good for your hair, but if youput it in a spray bottle and spritz your hair before you go out it will work. after about 3 or 4 hours in the sun. it will lighten a shade maybe after a week or two you will see a differance. sun in works better and has protecters in it i would use that instead. and the results will be more natural highlights and you wont smell like a lemonaide stand

i dont know how many hours to be outside for but its not a very good idea to put lemon juice in ur hair. i've had a few friends who have done that but it has turned out really badly. so if i were you, i wouldnt try it. if you really want to bleach ur hair, try going to a hairdresser. put lime juice in ur hair if you want to keep it from turning green from chlorine. but lemon juice also dries ur hair out and makes it fray.
