Dyeing own hair, streeks of purple?

i have dyed my own hair with streeks of purple b4 but recently i have had bad results with doing the dyes from a box. im afrade that i will mess up and the purple will bleed into my blond hair. will the color bleed into blond hair if its permanent dye? also i dont want to start from the top of my head, like the part line, because then i will be stuck with re dyeing (because the growth can be seen) i was thinking more like start to dye a strip under a layer so you will only see the end of the line, not the begaining. also what should i do with my bangs. i want to dye only the botom tips of them, but im affrade that would be to hard. pictures would be nice. : ) thanks

This is my advice, try it first with semi-permanent dye first. That way, if you don't like it or if it goes wrong, you can try it again. Then if you really like it, try permanent. As for purple bleeding into blond, I'm not really sure, though a friend of mine who got purple highlights didn't have it bleed into her hair. She's not blond, but I hope that helps!

So, uh, what's the question?

honey, you need to see a professional, I do hair for a living and I just had to fix someone's red , that went into there blonde and turned certain parts pink. It was pretty bad.I would have only charged her 45 dollars to do it right the first time, but it took me over 4 hours to fix her hair, and she well her mom paid 225 to fix it. I think what your going for is a really great look, I think with your bangs you should split them in half and just do the underneath, that way the purple well just poke out. but please be careful, call around some salons and price out what they would charge ya!
